Mid January Update | SPECIAL EVENTS

Hello skaters! We hope you are ready to continue skating with us through the rest of January and February.
We will be having skating events every weekend of the month—starting off our 2026 with a bang!
One of the beautiful things about roller skating is that it can be a great way to stay active during the winter months without suffering in the freezing cold. Our open skates (all ages) are family-friendly and a great way for your kids to expend some of their extra energy. Wintertime can get stuffy and boring—when that cabin fever starts to settle in, or you're simply in need of some fun, come see us!

Ready for an extra-special skate?
We have a few special skates in January and February other than our typical events.
Saturday, January 24th
Special Needs Skating Event | 10AM-1PM
We are trialing this event in response to several requests we have received from families in search of a skating event that is more friendly to their children with special needs. We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity to have fun here at the Pied Piper Roller Rink!
Roller Disco | 2-6PM
Enjoy a special roller disco themed event great for all ages. We will have a special guest DJ that you won't want to miss!
Friday, January 30th
Open Skate featuring West Michigan Skate Crew | 5-10:30PM
Opposed to our normal adult skate we'd typically have on this Friday night, we have a skate welcome for all ages! West Michigan Skate Crew will be making a guest appearance at 8pm. Come witness some talented skaters and get a few pointers!

Have you been skating for generations?
The Pied Piper has been around for, well... a while. Many people grew up skating here, their kids skated here as teens, and now their grandchildren are taking their first lap around the same floor! This is exactly the kind of thing that we love to see.
